Mentoring Policy
At Naipunnya School of Management, we believe that mentoring is an essential component of holistic education. Our Mentoring Policy is designed to provide every student with continuous academic guidance, personal support, and career mentoring through a structured mentor–mentee system. The programme fosters meaningful relationships between faculty mentors and students, enabling learners to develop confidence, resilience, leadership qualities, and a sense of responsibility.
Each student is assigned a faculty mentor who serves as a trusted guide throughout the academic journey. Regular mentoring sessions help identify students’ strengths, address academic and personal challenges, provide career guidance, and encourage participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The mentoring process promotes open communication, individual attention, and timely intervention whenever required.
The institution maintains an effective mentor–mentee ratio to ensure personalized support and meaningful interaction. Faculty mentors regularly monitor academic progress, attendance, well-being, and overall development while maintaining confidentiality and mutual trust. Students are encouraged to discuss their aspirations, concerns, and goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The mentoring programme also connects students with opportunities such as scholarships, internships, research projects, leadership activities, and career development initiatives. Counselling support and referrals are provided whenever necessary to ensure the overall well-being of every student.
Through continuous monitoring, feedback, and annual review, the mentoring system is strengthened to meet the evolving needs of students. Naipunnya School of Management remains committed to nurturing competent professionals, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners through a culture of guidance, encouragement, and personal excellence.
