Cherthala: Naipunnya College observed World Environment Day under the leadership of the NSS and Environmental Club. The programme included an environmental pledge, fruit sapling planting, and an exhibition. Principal Rev. Fr. Dr. Benny John Maramparampil delivered the World Environment Day message.

Fruit tree saplings were distributed to all students and faculty members. In collaboration with ITC, the college plans to implement several environmental initiatives during the year, including the collection of used books, cleaning of areas surrounding the campus, and the execution of projects in association with the Biodiversity Board.

The programme was led by Joint Director Rev. Fr. Ansil Maippan, Rev. Fr. Jinu Chethimattam, Dean Dr. Ajay Krishnan, and faculty members Joel Joseph, Athreyadath, and Mary Joseph.
